In contrast to many other accommodations, Suite 100 is barrier-free. You can always improve a little. Thanks to Corona and great weather, the rich, varied breakfast was served in the garden with a view of the pond. A dinner with the menu of the day was also great in the garden. Admirable are the waitresses who keep up the 2-shift operation in the heat. Anyone who complains about prices here has to touch their own nose, because they can be seen on the Internet and in the glass case at the latest.

There were two of us, but we don't agree on the rating. My impression: Summer 2020, despite reservations we stood in line for 10 minutes, unfortunately among other things with people who didn't keep the distance. We are not among the disciples / regulars. The boss led us to a table in the garden, one place in a beach chair, the other on a garden chair, the front legs of which stood on paved terrain, while the back legs threatened to sink into the 10 cm deeper lawn, I thought it was tilted. No service for 10 minutes, as people were led to the square. Then a card, another break. Drinks after 20 minutes, pilsner full but with a head that disappears very quickly. The service seemed chaotic, for example: the boss calls through the whole garden: "Would someone like 2 espressos (!)?" Sometimes very short, sometimes long waiting times. The bread with butter served to us stood in the garden for 5 minutes without a cover and happened to be so close that the plate touched a rag to disinfect the tables. The boss had looked closely at this mess shortly before without changing anything, and she also turned my beer glass while serving, so that the little dirt sticking to the edge should come from my point of view. In a restaurant, I find smokers at the next table exhausting when I smell their smoke instead of my main course. The food was imaginative, well served, and very well prepared and presented. However, it didn't suit my taste: all of the main dishes and side dishes were too salty for my taste. I got a rack of lamb with a herb crust and bacon beans as pieces of lamb under a herb sauce with bean kernels without a pod with bits of bacon, not my favorite. The variety of chocolate was two kinds of mousse, Mövenpick ice cream and a chocolate cake - each 1 tablespoon full, on which our spirits parted with fruit and Saussenspiegel. The previous beef carpaccio was interesting, but I missed truffles, parmesan and rocket more oil or vinaigrette. Great view, beautiful garden, hard-working staff - I would have preferred to have coffee there. I have higher expectations of a restaurant, but a lot was right in the kitchen.

Very nice service. The restaurant itself is a bit old-fashioned (we sat inside). If you like it more modern, ask for a table in the winter garden. The quality of the food is very good, but it is cooked very fat (risotto sponge in butter and parmesan). The steak was great, but rather 'rare' than medium. Salmon starter very good.

The taste was very good. Unfortunately, I found a hair in the food that could not be mine or my husband's. I called the waiter and showed him. The waiter's reaction: "It's not mine" and that's it. This is not possible

We went to this restaurant for dinner today. It is our first stay on Sylt and we try a different place for dinner every day. As we were able to learn at the beginning, it makes sense to make a reservation here on site, since a spontaneous visit is often not crowned with success. Accordingly, we called this afternoon and reserved a table for 6pm. We were told transparently that there was one run at 6 p.m. and another at 8 p.m. That was ok for us, since we usually never have 2 hours of dinner with a child. To anticipate: the food was not the reason for this review. It could easily have been 4 stars, if we would refer purely to the food. Both the soup and the main course were very, very good. Unfortunately, two things essentially determine how you feel about your stay in a restaurant - the food and the staff. In the restaurant I thought all the time that the staff is sure to be having a bad day ... but then I read the reviews on here and it seems that I'm not the first to experience what we have just experienced. We entered the restaurant at 6 p.m., were shown to our table and sat down. Then there was "the greeting of the house" with homemade lard and a few breads. While we were tasting it, our order was taken. We had our mouths full when the waiter served the soup. When I asked him to allow a little more time to go on with the main course, I got a lecture on the correctness of the procedure. Since we are on vacation, I took it without objection and tried to relax. However, the waiter felt compelled to come to our table after another 3 minutes and explain to me again that everything was going correctly and that it should be done. Again I just took it. (knowing that things are different in top restaurants and that criticism or comments are simply dealt with professionally) It was already evident that the waiter was getting stubborn. Another lady came to our table at 6:40 p.m. and told us that the main course had to be served now, as other guests would come after us at 8 p.m. It's not at all clear to me how to spend 1 hour and 20 minutes on a main course. You just feel like a driven person in this restaurant. Even McDonald's can't handle me so quickly. It should be mentioned that we are talking about main courses with a price range of 28-42 euros. We paid 110 euros with 2 adults and a child. It's not mega expensive, but neither is it cheap. I can expect to be able to allocate the 2h slot to myself and not the waiter spreading the 2h 90% over the first hour. No critical faculties, "more willingly than skillfully", with a fake smile. It seems like you want to embody something, but the staff can't keep it up. We won't go back to the place.

A very nice, charming and well-kept hotel. The breakfast was very, very good and nothing was left to be desired. The hotel would deserve 5 stars. The behavior of the hotel owner unfortunately breaks everything. You are left speechless with such an unprofessional handling of criticism, arrogant and arrogant behavior. What a shame!

We spent our vacation on Sylt in June 2020 in the Hotel and Restaurant Fitschen at the village pond. You can't think of enough superlatives that could be used for the evaluation !! The hotel is idyllically situated and is run with passion by the Fitschen family. The one-storey suite with a small terrace is of excellent quality and cleanliness and is equipped with all the amenities that make a vacation really lovable. The family atmosphere and the outstanding friendliness of the hosts help to always make you feel welcome as a guest. Breakfast is served at the table, something we have never experienced on our previous vacations. The selection of fresh rolls, cold cuts, fruit and special requests such as scrambled eggs, fruit juices etc. is overwhelming and absolutely top class! We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant: wonderfully prepared dishes of the highest quality. We would like to compliment the Fitschen family and thank you very much for making our vacation so pleasant. We would love to come back !!

We were the last night for dinner in the restaurant and were completely satisfied. Great dishes, a very friendly service and a nice ambience made the evening special. I can not even share the previous criticism of river crab soup and lamb. With me both were high class.

Not recommended for families with children. The waiter almost got an infarct when we wanted to order only one soup for the kids, but not an additional main course. Then sent the boss to our table, which told us that main courses could not be shared on two plates (which we did not ask). Drinks for the kids were brought only after the memory of the waiter. Overall food ok, but for the price we would have expected a bit more (filet was no longer pink and truffle sauce had the aroma and air to the top). From the food I would still have given 4 stars; but for the annoyance of the operation I prefer 2 stars.
